Lyle Baker, Worship Minister

I am so happy to be the Worship Minister at CCC! My wife, Holly & I have been married for 22 years and have two wonderful daughters, Chloe and Hailey. My passions are ministry, music, volunteering, backpacking, and I am also very involved in planning and helping at Ohio Teens for Christ. The entire Baker family is really excited about the new adventure with CCC!

Tom Baker, Custodian
I’ve been with CCC for over 30 years, and retired from Hilliard City Schools as the custodian for over 40 years. I’m very involved in keeping the church clean for our members, homeschools, and community partners.

Josh Garver, Student Minister
I am thrilled to be a part of the team at CCC and be the Student Minister! I am from Dayton, OH, and went to college at Liberty University and received a Bachelor’s in Global Studies, which is cross-cultural ministry. I am a die-hard Cincinnati Bengals fan and a Michigan Wolverine fan; needless to say, I thrive in enemy territory here in Columbus!
I get to do ministry alongside my amazing wife, Claire… she’s cooler than I am.

Jeremy Klein, Lead Minister

It is an honor and a privilege to be the Lead Minister of such a wonderful, loving church community. I grew up in Akron, Ohio, graduated from Kenmore High School, and then attended Kentucky Christian University, where I met Dawn. I graduated from KCU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Preaching Ministry and Bible in 1998. I am currently working on a Master of Arts degree in Leadership from KCU. I love the Cleveland Browns and, of course, THE Ohio State University Buckeyes.

Joyce Truman, Office Manager and
Dean Truman, Building & Maintenance
Dean and Joyce have been attending and volunteering at CCC for over 27 years. Both joined the staff over 5 years ago. Joyce runs the office smoothly by having everything the staff needs to do their job well. This is a multi-tasking job, and I (Joyce) love that God gave me the opportunity to serve Him in this capacity.
Dean is over building & maintenance and provides support to the staff.

Chantel Vanscoy, Children’s Ministry Director

I’m so excited to be on staff as the Director of Children’s Ministry! My husband, Dan Vanscoy, served as the Youth Minister for ten years, and it feels like coming home when I walk through the doors to come to work. I studied social work at Kentucky Christian University and graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. I also graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. My passion is to teach children about God, his Son, Jesus, and what it means to have a relationship with him. In addition I love empowering young children to be able to share their faith and love for Jesus. Family is a huge part of ministry. Dan and I have three children: Jordan (Ginny), Grace, and Dani. We also have a grandson, Jaiden, who has all of us wrapped around his little finger. As a family, we worship and serve together at CCC and would love to meet you!

Danny Vanscoy, Associate Minister

I was born and raised in Elkins, WV. I grew up attending the First Church of Christ. I became the Senior Minister at this church in 1978 and retired in 2021. After retirement, I returned here in January of 2023 to become an Associate Minister.
