Wanna be a Convict?

We meet on the 1st Tuesday of every month from 7-8:30 in the Student Center at Connection Christian Church. Dinner is provided!

Walk in by yourself, bring someone, but most importantly you will meet other young adults! Some figuring out what they believe and some who love the Lord! Our objective is to answer real questions for those asking, “How do I follow Jesus in today’s world?”

What to Expect

We will start with eating food because Jesus ate his way with through the Gospels… and we really like that example.

Then their may be some kind of ice breaker question so people can know something interesting about one another.

Next, their will be a 10-15 minute mini-sermon on relevant topics that we wrestle with in society (God’s will, mental health, LGBT+, etc) and bring everything back to the Word of God and how that shapes our views on these topics.

Finally, we will then open the floor for discussion so people can ask questions that they may have never got the chance to ask.

Young Adult Retreat: Feb 19-21st

Round Lake Retreat: A Weekend for Young Adults to understand: Who is the Holy Spirit? How do I hear the Holy Spirit? How do I recognize the Holy Spirit in everyday life?

This weekend will be refreshing, laughter filled, and possibly one of the most helpful weekends in learning how to follow Jesus!
