Teach One

What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, commit to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. 2 Timothy 2:2

Reflect on the importance of this goal: Recruit, train, and deploy discipleship group leaders/facilitators. As members of the body, we must recognize both our ability to teach others as well as to help find new members who have the gift of facilitation or teaching. Jesus was our example, and he had many others whom he identified and taught to lead others to Christ. We should each embrace our capabilities as teachers and work to encourage others to teach and share Jesus as well. This is the only way that the kingdom will continue to expand.

Prayer for Day 9: Pray for our church leaders and elders as they seek to grow the base of facilitators and teachers at CCC. Pray for wisdom and courage to pursue this goal faithfully. Ask God to reveal opportunities to live out this goal in your daily life. Thank God for the community and support in this journey.
